Far Cry
FC3: Blood Dragon. Basically a Ubisoft letter of apology for being so bad over the years. You still need to do uplay even if you launch it from Steam, but it's well worth the hassle. Do yourself a favor and don't watch any let's plays before you grab it, if you plan to.
Just bought it and shall play tonight.
First Ubisoft game I will have played for years, I assume, as I've never used Uplay before.

How long is blood dragon?
I've only played about 40 minutes, and I think I have done the first level.

I'm thinking that it will be slightly shorter than the second half of Far Cry 3. The liberated areas don't seem to offer many side quests, unless more are unlocked later in the game.bennisboy wrote:

80's shit. The game is dripping with it.Uzique The Lesser wrote:

Its target audience seems to be hovering near or in their 30's, so maybe that's why it doesn't affect you. The music works, the cheesy story works and the visuals work. It's short enough to avoid being pretentious and cheap enough to avoid buyer's remorse. If you want to call me "very easily pleased" at having spent $15 for a few hours of amusing gameplay, go right ahead. Meanwhile, I'm going to laugh at cyborg laser dinosaurs deep-frying cyborg Cobra in their own cyborg blood. It's certainly a refreshing alternative to playing Wake Island VIII on Battlefield 9.Uzique The Lesser wrote:

I'm not going to try to convince you to play it or stress out if you don't. It's just one of those things where either it clicks or it doesn't.
i asked why MOAB was nostalgic because afaik he's younger than me, and i was born in '89.
"target audience in the 30's"? please. willing to bet the average age of a person playing a game as shit as farcry 3 is not 30+.

You know what I mean. You were born in '89, I was born in '81. My early childhood was bombarded with this kind of stuff. Walking around with a Robocop pistol fighting G.I. Joe enemies with Terminator-type music playing in the background nails it for me. Blood Dragon is good cheesy fun for me. If it doesn't work for you, I'm sure we can simply move on with the rest of our day."target audience in the 30's"? please. willing to bet the average age of a person playing a game as shit as farcry 3 is not 30+.
