Nice, in what capacity for the nuclear commission?
just a summer intern. they take 40 students from across the province so its a slim chance but i am taking a nuclear and particle physics class - something that isnt all that common in universities, surprisingly
Interview on Monday.
Wish me luck! D:

Looks like my interview is gonna end up being at 5 AM so I can see the work in progress. I hope I can keep myself awake for it, let alone while driving there
Christ, you're a big baby.
"Ah, you miserable creatures! You who think that you are so great! You who judge humanity to be so small! You who wish to reform everything! Why don't you reform yourselves? That task would be sufficient enough."

5am? most regular full-time working professionals get up at 5:00-5:30am. it's hardly the fucking trenches at the somme, is it?
I'm sure it's easier for some people than for others but this is only my 2nd job interview ever. I would've killed to get the 11PM interview slot but somebody beat me to it
it's a few hours' difference. your body is capable.
Yeah I guess you're right
Maybe I'll grab a coke or coffee from 7/11 or something on the way to help just a little bit

just have a full breakfast and a glass of fresh orange juice. perk you up nicely.
try to avoid a large sugar intake first thing, cause you could slump by mid-morning. also try to avoid caffeine: it'll wake you up, but caffeine can also make you jittery and anxious. it's a drug, remember.

Was up at 4am this morning. And Monday, and going to be the same on Friday.
Suck it up.
Suck it up.
I think the interview went well, they have 4 other openings and it doesn't look like they have anybody else in consideration so far. The interviewer lady was really nice and the interview itself didn't feel as though it was a big part of the process or even really a determining factor in hiring me, we spent more time with her showing me around the lab.
They might have to send me to one of their other places like Boston or Memphis for two weeks for training if they can't hire more people here for her to train concurrently. They would pay for everything though.
Feels kind of nice being up as early as I was though and coffee does amazing things

Glad to hear.
If they send you to Boston or Memphis for 2 weeks will you provide daily updates and questions about how to live on your own?
judging from your recent cocaine defenestration ordeal, you could do with some of those tips, macb
you've never worked a day in your life, gtfo
She fell on her own. I was on the opposite side of the room when she fell.
she could have died.
dying for a job?

brave guy. fair play. he died trying to bring awareness to society's dispossessed.
also for a guy with a creative writing ma, he sure fulfills roc's stereotype of all arts/humanities kids being hipsters...
