I think it's the same one. I remember the first time I tried it I thought it was awesome (bottle). Then a year or so later I had some on tap and it was kinda average. Maybe it was the beer line or something, dunno.

Chocolate was pretty mild, but you could definitely taste it. It's a bock so it worked. Sam Adams makes something similar which is probably slightly thicker than Saranac. Both are more than drinkable.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Mirror Pond is probably the best of the 3.
Anchor Steam Second
Racer 5 last. Not recommended.
Will have to finish off the Mirror Pond and Anchor Steam to determine which is actually better.
The Racer 5 will be drank when I don't have any other beer.
