Yeah it owns, go with the light assault kit though the jetpack unlock is serious crack, and you can do some trollin with it when you capturing bases and shit. Run in kill a guy get chased out by a squad and jetpack onto the roof and trololo.

Played like 5 minutes, killed shit tons of people which took about 20 bullets each but no one would shoot back for whatever reason. Then everything around me randomly disappeared and after a while of running around in the void I just died.

The shine's left my eyes after I messed with control configuration. It takes FOREVER to unbind keys and I can't bind "/" to crouch, because it defaults to chat commands NO MATTER WHAT.

If any game needs an offline practice mode, it's this one. Some keys are bound to certain functions no matter what and I have to fight the interface every step of the way to do anything more complex than point and shoot. Wonky aircraft controls meant that the first thing I did was fly straight into the ground, and I could pull off some fancy shit in BF2 which was said to have irritating flight control itself. SO. I'm guessing I'm stuck with what amounts to a practice character to get into the swing of things before I go serious mode.
Friends interface? Awkward. Finding your friend? Clumsy. Spawning on or near your friend? ????? I'm sure it's cake once you figure it out, but it certainly isn't accessible. Glad it's F2P.

Uh what? There are audio settings, I turned down most of them and turned off the music yesterday. And I haven't had any problems with the interface, seem pretty straight forward to me. If your friend is in your squad he isn't very hard to find, it's number coordinated. How is this stuff not accessible? Hitting P to see your friends list/squad and matching their number is not hard at all.
Probably just need some time to become accustomed to the game and its controls.
My biggest problem is whenever im near a large battle, the framerate drops drastically and painfully. Pretty fun game so far though

That part's not even in the controls menu as far as I can tell. I figured it would've been some weird combination of F(the ability key for all classes I think) and spacebar but after doing some testing I figured out it was just holding the space bar, which is actually really simple & intuitive for a change when you think about it. I thought they were gonna do something goofy like BF2 with the 9 key for parachute, what an awful decision that was
