I liked it, though it wasn't as good as the dark knight imho.  I liked the portrayal of Bane and thought there were a few good twists.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
i shat bricks when it was revealed that maranda was the kid that escaped the prison and not bane

The movie revolves more around a supporting actor then the main actor, what happens to to bale and what he does to overcome within a small frame exceeds realism especially for a director who wanted only ultra realism for the batman trilogy, it ended on a true sour note

now its real hard for explanation without giving spoilers ..... so I will say from a just a movie standpoint : its a good movie, not a great but good, its worth watching but not worth cherishing

also banes voice .... would have sounded better if the execs didn't force nolans hand to make it sound like a voice over instead of a voice beneath a mask

I've also heard it wasn't super spectacular or anything, but still good. It's like the Star Wars trilogy.

Wow, you all weren't kidding about the plot-holes, but other than that I liked it.  Bane was a fucking awesome villain too

Huge wtf at the the ending tbh

The ending was simple and cliched.

I didn't really find any plothole at all. Pretty much everything connected back to Batman Begins & TDK

Me neither. Whatever vague parts the movie might have had cold easily be explained by the first 2 parts or even the comics.

Tbh I don't think I ever watched the first in the series at all so that's probably why it confused me.  I thought a lot of it would stand on its own, otherwise I would've tried to watch the first one

That's the problem with so many people. It's a decent enought trilogy, but it's still batman. A superhero movie. No one gave two shits about the first because it was seen as just another superhero movie to most of the moviegoers, even though it wasnt of a lower quality than the other two.
Then The dark knight got a huge hype to support it (mainly because of Heath Ledger's performance and death) and suddenly everyone went to see the new batman, that many people still think is the first in a series of just 2.
Sad really, because so many people are really missing out by not having seen the first. But most of these people don't care about the whole story line, because if you would pay a tiny bit of attention to it you can easily spot the obvious holes (in part 2 and 3) that are supposed to be filled by the first.

I dont even see how part 3 can make any sense if you dont know about the whole Al ghul situation and the league of shadows that's explained in part 1.

I don't know anyone who's seen Dark Knight but not Batman Begins.

i thought it was very well done.  I of course had seen the first two movies.  There was a bit too much a build up for the first hour but it all made sense.  Best movie ive seen this year with the avengers (yaaaaa it was cheesy and too much dumb humor but i liked it)

9/10
