B2K maps crap on the Vanilla selection

Finally I can say something nice about BF3.
The B2K maps are far better in terms of gameplay than the Vanilla maps.
They ruined Wake, but Karkand and Sharqi are a joy to play.
Oman is meh, but at least it's not a constant bombing loop on the MEC jet spawns like it used to be.
Pick a B2K only server, and you can begin to enjoy BF3 a bit more.

You can play Conquest (normal) or Conquest:Assault modes.
Try out both as the maps are significantly different.
Bit strange playing Karkand in regular Conquest mode.

Yeah probably.
I too spent many moons (2000+ hrs) chewing the goodness that was BEEF.
I didn't mean the B2K maps are better than the BF2 versions if that's what you got from my post (except maybe Karkand).
They certainly play better than most of the BF3 vanilla maps though.
Unfortunately all the AUS BF2 servers have pretty much died since BF3 came out.
Hard to even find a server in AUS that hasn't been infested with hackers since then.
Seems with all the admin attention focused on BF3 the old BF2 servers have become a home away from home for those people who can't compete without their "third-party" software.
