Well, just make sure you're a thane wherever you steal from and you should be good until you can legitimately acquire one from a bandit, but by the time you find bandits that have such a bow, they'll probably be able to kill you in two hits(that's how it is for me with Bandit Marauders at level 26) and you'll only be able to kill them in 10 or more with the bow depending on your skill level(that's how much it would've taken me to kill them with my Supple Ancient Nordic Bow with 22 damage)Adams_BJ wrote:

I just get up close and personal and try to juke them, for some reason they don't tend to switch to melee weapons even at point blank so you can just swing away as necessary until the job is done.FatherTed wrote:

To date, I've only found one bow that was better than mine, I think it was an Ebony Bow, but I couldn't pick it up cuz I was carrying too much shit already anyway. Plus I've smithed my SANB to Fine quality and I've been using it forever so I'm kind of sentimentally attached to it now, lol. In most other cases, it still gets the job done but I'm finally starting to have to use better quality arrows than just simple iron

I did the intro as both the Imperial and Stormcloaks. Took the Stormcloaks the second time around, but beyond that I'm neutral. Story hasn't forced me to take sides yet beyond that point.

No they definitely wouldn't, just like doing Thieves Guild things doesn't necessarily make people hate you either for the most part, the guards just comment that they can tell you're wearing Thieves Guild armor and aren't fooling them and that's usually the worst you hear about being bad.DefCon-17 wrote:

I prefer the dark brotherhood, although the thieves guild armor and nightingale armor is 1000000000x cooler than the dark brotherhood set. And as far as stats go, the nightingale armor supasses the dark brotherhood set if you ask me.
