5x XP is for all your tanks, you get 5x XP for your first victory of the day in each tank rather than the usual double. The week of free premium is 'cus your account was registered before August 12th 2010, You will still get the free day with the code.War Man wrote:

Probably around 60-90 dollarsRTHKI wrote:

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
Unless I reading this wrong I dont really get what you are getting at. If the tank is/was elited there is nothing more to spend xp on for it so what the hell else is that xp going to do other than be converted? Do you mean the tank is 'elite' but there is an unresearched tank you cant use the xp on? I thought it was automatically researched and the tank stayed elite.13rin wrote:
Sons of bitches... They did the new release, and totally fucked me. Apparently you can't lose the 'elite' status on a tank, even if now there is another tank above it, so if I want to run the better German Heavy line now, I have to pay to convert my tiger II experience. Bullshit. After a PM question, I was basically told 'too fucking bad'.
Russian bastards.

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
1 on 1 you would die every time...War Man wrote:

I get the impression Warman is the lonewolf rambo type, screaming his battlecry "Ready for War!" as he charges into battle.
Nah, I'm the teamplayer. Only way to win to be honest.AussieReaper wrote:

Kidding me? I can handle my own 1 on 1 unless it is a higher tier, even then, I can sometimes be able to handle my own.coke wrote:

If I was hiding you wouldn't even see till I fire my 1st shot, with HE that gun does an average of 900 dmg, either way I can kill a kv-13 in 2 shots...War Man wrote:

You'd be lucky, even on fast movers I can hit pretty well, and I don't even have to hit you to cause splash damage.War Man wrote:

Look I'm not saying that either that tank or you as a player are bad, or that I am amazing it's just you would have to be very, very lucky to win that fight...

If you played enough in the beta and haven't played since, you might have the premium sherman tank gift.
Yea thats what I thought.... I had like 100hrs in the beta and got to like t9 or something... Tiger 2
Yeah the German tech tree has changed a lot since then.Stimey wrote:

Up close, I beat you. At long range, you beat me.coke wrote:

If I were to install this sometime this week, would it be hard to get into?
I know that you buy upgrades through experience, how big of a disadvantage are you at the start?

Not always, I've been in a bullshit matchmade game where the enemy had superior tiers than we did. Thankfully my team had superior intelligence so we ended up winning. Usually platoons fuck up the matchmaking system, I have nothing against platoons and in fact like platoons(unless they bring tier 1 tanks to a tier 7+ battle).TimmmmaaaaH wrote:
No real disadvantage to being a new player other than general game knowledge. Tanks are placed against other tanks of equal tier and new players have 15? I think battles before they are placed in the same pool as the rest of the players.
Game is a bitch to get through without premium, but you can still manage. It is a matter of how patient you are with this game, you gotta be patient if you want to get higher tier tanks and better guns. Not to mention you have to deal with high repair and ammo costs once you get higher level tanks.

Yeh. Those issues arent really relevant till you like the game enough to spend some money though. If you get to tier 3 and are still enjoying it then you are really just making it less fun without premium. It is only $10 a month so it isnt like it is a huge expense. Can get pretty far down a line of tanks in a month as well.
I've been playing with no premium apart from the free 8 days or so from the anniversary, and I've manage to get to T-44, Su-152 and Tiger (also have T34-85, PZ IV, gift Sherman) yes sometimes the grinds can be long, and now I've hit tier 8 in the T-44 I have to watch my credit flow, but any losses I make in a average/bad round in the T-44 can easily be recovered by an average round in the PZ 1V or the Sherman.TimmmmaaaaH wrote:

World of Warcraft is 12 bucks a month.TimmmmaaaaH wrote:
Wow, thats a lot of tanks for non-premium. I find it bad enough in some points even with premium so kudos I guess. Surely the tiny expense of $10 is worth it though?
