I liked it too, but the rubber port cover on the bottom was a terrible design.coolstorybro wrote:

Rooting would be the only problem that should stop you from going gb.. but if it's not an issue go for it.Roger Lesboules wrote:

would be a lot more if you turned wifi off
My wifi is off whenever I'm around. It turns on automatically when I'm at home or at work.
Anyway...if I'm doing something on the internet it's more battery efficient to do it on wifi not 3G - it will take longer on 3G.

When I first got my Galaxy S a month ago it was on Froyo which was one laggy piece of crap! I updated it to gingerbread straight away definitely worth it. Although now I am just running a custom rom.Roger Lesboules wrote:

Normal use? ~ 30 hours.
everything i write is a ramble and should not be taken seriously.... seriously. ♥
Yeah, normal for me - data always on, emails, social networking, voice calls, no games though.
Games ( heavy graphics ones) are definitely battery hogs.
just downloaded the zedge app for ringtones and alerts. its pretty sweet. using the xbox 360 achievement unlocked sound as my text/email notofication
game of thrones intro as my ringtone
