Get it there from the official site, requires use of their P2P downloader which I just uninstalled afterwards. They've added all mekpaks (there are a ridiculous number of mechs and weapons now) as well as a load of new campaign fixes and bug fixes. Multiplayer works and is free too- they've brought the servers back online. This has actually been available since last year but not everyone heard about it.

Singleplayer is where most of the fun is. I've not played the mp since they brought the servers back online but it's probably going to feel dated by now.

yes (it was) i havn't tried it in ages. the singleplayer is awesome too
