Recon really feels OP in hc with their one shot one kill rifles.
Worst part is, most hc servers have Heavy metal as 24/7 map
I like hc, but mostly for cqc in (semi-)urban maps.
I also wouldn't mind a redo of the Sega Genesis Jurassic Park, only with a playable human that isn't so damn fiddly. Playing the raptor was fun as hell.Macbeth wrote:
Capcom needs to revive the Dino Crisis series. I'm not talking about a sequel but a complete reboot of the series.
It forces you to move so much slower and more carefully, I´m not used to that. I´m more of a boomboom go in guyKampframmer wrote:

I always get painfully reminded that i'm playing hc when i start to feel cocky and think i can cross 2 streets in one run.
hey ebug, where are you with splinter cell???
I only downloaded Chaos Theory so far, because I heard it was the best of the series. That and I have a monthly bandwidth cap so I have to pick and choose which one I wanna download/play first
Completed the first mission then went to bed last night. I'm at work now but I'll probably play a bit when I get home.

the us army must have some pretty fucking uber technology up their sleeves if they can get crysis 2 to run on a laptop...
The Dismounted Soldier Training System is a new military sim commissioned by the US government. The sim will be used to train new soldiers as early as next year, and cost a hefty $57 million to make. GamePro report that it’s likely that most of this went on development of the the new technology that will capture soldiers’ movements on a ten foot square pad. New recruits will experience the simulator through a virtual reality headset that will run from a state-of-the-art custom laptop strapped to their back.

Inorite? who'd have thought the military would have such a large budget?Uzique wrote:

So they get the decent multiplayer they promised us?AussieReaper wrote:

They have a REAL 'Alienware' PC on loan from the Air Force and Area 51, but they had to add more memory.Uzique wrote:

I like the lighting. Wonder how long it's going to be before this 'game' starts getting pushed as a recruitment perk.
i wonder if it'll replace americas army, which totally blew in its latest incarnation.

it looks good.
Well, hopefully we'll at least get a watered down version.Uzique wrote:

Army Strong.
Make X-meds a full member, for the sake of 15 year old anal gangbang porn watchers everywhere!
Well, hopefully we'll at least get a watered down version with good controls.
Can someone explain to me what GoG is? Something like steam but web-based?
Good Old Games, it is basically steam for old classic games (and more recently has become a store for newer games and any games CD Projeckt makes as they own it). It doesnt force you to run a client, you can just download and run the games DRM free. They also guarantee the games will run, unlike steam who just throw old games at you and you have to do all the shitting around to get them working.
such a shame.Uzique wrote:

We'll see if, unlike Steam, you can get the CD tracks with the old games.
They add the soundtrack as a MP3 or OGG files for most of the games.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Yeah, you can still get it on steam, but they should've thought to provide it with the download itself. Might as well have just kept with my old discs, but here I thought having digital copies would be convenient.
