not going to start a new thread in a dead subforum for a 10 year old game
its intro is only 20 seconds long so it should also serve as a reminder that frag movies are actually supposed to be about frags

Also when you're shooting full auto the bullets only spread to the top of the gun.
i thought you said you did a games design degree and work for a games company? steam doesn't have 'hit detection', it's a social community and a content-delivery platform. the source engine had poor hit-detection like on version 1.0 of counter-strike: source but it's not really a problem that has endured into the game in its current state (nor found its pesky way into any other source engine games, for that matter). the bullet deviation in css is sometimes a little rage-inducing but everybody works with the same shit; some people are really good at full-spray (i.e. control, good rates) and some are useless (i.e. noobish, bad rates).Vilham wrote:

a few of those streaks looked like 99% bullshit and luck, though.

2. I do.
3. A typo you massive pedant, I quite obviously meant CS:S/06 engine.
Your attempt at being condescending has failed miserably. Go type a blog on your Mac Book in Starbucks wearing a woolly jumper or whatever you do.
I had a sneaking suspicion that posting that video was somehow going to end badly
haha! amazing. blogs, macbook, starbucks, wooly jumpers... anyone could think you're stuck in 2008. poor guy.Vilham wrote:

Should have bought some beers instead. The only purchase I thoroughly regret over the last years. And I bought TDU2 and Crysis 2.Little BaBy JESUS wrote:
Picked up Operation Flashpoint: DR for $5 off steam. Worth the money?
I've heard it's shit, but I figured it's only $5 so even if I only get a couple hours out of it I haven't lost much...
wow someone was butthurt..
Bots in MP is what really ruined the game.Sisco wrote:

You could sit back with a sniper rifle and pick off every single AI, only to have them re-spawn and walk towards you for it to happen all over again.
If you had 60 rounds, you would get 60 kills.
There was a guy who modded the crap out of that game. Made the AI smarter/harder and made an awesome 'Island War' game.
Pretty sure all his threads are stickied on the official ME forums. Definitely worth a look.
Shame they didn't add any modding for Red River

Pre-load Fable 3 in a few minutes.
Spend a half-an-hour decrypting game files.
FFS, it would be faster for me to uninstall and redownload.
e: I was joking when I said a half-an-hour. Now it looks like that will really be the case.
e2: Nearly 30 minutes, on the dot. 100% decrypted. Was that prophetic or what.

everything i write is a ramble and should not be taken seriously.... seriously. ♥
Yeah, I was. Even though I got it "cheap" for 25€. Even with friends, it was shit, cause if you got friends to play co-op with, there are lots of games out there who are much better.CC-Marley wrote:

And as Reaps said, the MP was absofuckinglutely horrible. Retarded bots, incredibly laggy. I hardly ever regret buying a game if I get some hours of fun out of it (which I got plenty in TDU2 and Crysis 2), but DR still makes me butthurt today when I think about it.
So...thanks for all the Fable 3 addons, Games For Windows Live. Next time, go through Steam so I can actually download them faster than the speed of seeping earwax. And to think I had the gall to complain about slow Steam decrypting of the pre-loaded game files.
the funny thing is that you're a parody of an age-old gaming geek stereotype yourself. this forum is wonderfully myopic at times.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
