I guess. I hardly ever go online myself either so I'm not really missing PSN at the moment.11 Bravo wrote:

I still can use the web browser if I want to.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
Sony has corrected them. It was not a second attack.HaiBai wrote:

Update, 9:03PM EST: SOE has provided us with the following statement, in which it confirms that its user data was stolen as part of the original intrusion -- not a second attack. "While the two systems are distinct and operated separately, given that they are both under the SONY umbrella, there is some degree of architecture that overlaps. The intrusions were similar in nature. This is NOT a second attack; new information has been discovered as part of our ongoing investigation of the external intrusion in April."

Can someone tell me how to completely remove my credit card/account details with PSN network? Yeah sorry, I'm a paranoid freak about it.
Assuming that this can be done once the PSN network is up.

For offline games, I prefer PC. Much better detail, performance, graphics, and often times, a modding community. Games like Dragon Age and Fallout are much more fun when playing with mods. On consoles, you don't have those options.11 Bravo wrote:

Against bots? Your buddies can't always be at the same couch as you.11 Bravo wrote:

If you're really worried about it give your credit card company a call and have them issue you a new card with new number. Most don't charge for a new card and you'll usually have it within a few days.Graphic-J wrote:

I play both pc and ps3, they each have their pluses.

Not sure if I want to do that just yet as the card number is embedded in all forms of payment/bills etc (PayPal, gas company for example) sure a bit of hassle for security, but I just want to make payments on PSN via purchased Gift Cards and not with my Chase card as it currently is.west-phoenix-az wrote:

Just leave it and be vigilante. Check your statement online daily, and if something does happen and you're unlucky enough to be defrauded them im sure the banks will refund you quickly enough.

I broke and bought Bulletstorm to play until the PSN is back up. Knowing my luck that'll happen in the next 20 minutes lol

We discovered that the intruders had planted a file on one of our Sony Online Entertainment servers named "Anonymous" with the words "We are Legion."
That's so sad.
