Akali has become OP by merit of everyone else being nerfed in the face for the last 10 patches. My friend hit 1900 ELO 2 weeks ago maining akali.
Akali has always been op, its just that people rarely play her. shes an amazing carry.

People have been playing her since forever but she was overshadowed by all the top tier champs. MF used to destroy her solomid. Over the last 10 patches Riot have systematically nerfed everyone above her- ranged carries, tanky dps, junglers, AOE tanks etc.iceman785 wrote:

I think she is especially potent with the minion changes; people have been taking squishier tower pushers instead of tanks to combat the minion pushing/backdooring instead of the regular tanky dps/caster/tank spread.
The only real way to combat a fed Akali is a silence and hard crowd control. Or a very tanky team, tanky teams are a bitch for Akali.

Ive been shit at shaco forever but lately something clicked and hes ez mode:
I play him as AP. Throw daggers for 1k+ lichbane for 1k+ = dead people. Plus, I've thrown 6 Jitbs in a bush and killed two people instantly, I didn't even get a chance to see their health drop. Shit's insane.
Been pwning with ap teem lately, went 16-2 my first game and like 19-7 my second. Almost got a triple kill 1v3 by kiting rammus amumu and lux thru my 1300 dmg traps. Nocturne ultd and ks'd rammus tho. So cheese just trap kiting and getting kills. I got a double kill after I died cuz of lows up people and them walking on traps lol.
So is the whole game scene broken atm ?

Their servers are being overloaded atm. Just keep closing and reopening the client till it says available.

ranked is fun if you can get past the 1200 "elo hell." imo, que 5v5 with a partner so you can have atleast 1 person to rely on.
