i haven't raided in WoW since kara/ssc in tbc, which was - what? - the first 3-4 months after expansion?

didn't play wotlk at all, only to level a toon at the end over a 2-3 week period

level 82 in cata with one toon, haven't played since release weekend

but yeah i "still play" and i'm in massive denial. the last time i played WoW seriously (i.e. hardcore pvp and raiding) was vanilla / early tbc

again though... thanks for telling me! i almost forgot the last 4 years of my life

only person that's in denial about their WoW geekiness is you. jesus. running as a GM and no-lifing in late-late TBC? hahaha

Hardly. Poll a random number of bf2s'ers and I guarantee the image that I described for you is what they will say. It's how you wish to portray yourself here. That's fine, that's you, but most of us (especially the ones around 30+) look at you as a preening peacock who is awkward and completely unsure of himself and thus overcompensates with delusions of grandeur and braggadicio.

One thing I've always been extraordinarily good at is reading people. I can usually pigeonhole someone accurately within five minutes of talking to them. It's a useful skill and I'm correct 90% of the time. Dismiss that if you want, but I know I'm correct about you. Maybe you'll grow out of it one day, but as of today, you're borderline depressed, completely lacking in self esteem (being a braggart does not make you self confident, it implies the opposite), and terrified of your future. Tell me I'm wrong.
