dude....the 'maximum x' is a key part in Crysis. It adds a certain cool factor to the suits. I watched the nanosuit trailer again just to hear that awesome voice.

nvidia say the 580 gtx should get you 75 fps on hardcore, it does in this demo but this is only dx9, so dx 11 should be a lot less than that unless they severely optimise the finished game.Uzique wrote:

I enjoyed the round of play I had, but I haven't felt the need to go back and try it again.
I downloaded the demo and played 1 round. Now i didn't really knew the controls and I hadn't checked any of the options, I just jumped in and played. Naturally, it went like shit and I had to check the controls in the game. What bothered me though was how on gamer (I believe this is the lowest video setting) and still it didn;t play smooth

Just played about 2 hours of the demo.. I gotta say, I am REALLY impressed. The game is polished to a mirror shine. The character movement is fluid, I really like it. Could run it at max settings, thought it was a bit sluggish. Dropped it down to Gamer and it was very smooth and still looked fantastic - one thing I got to say, they've really outdone themselves on the graphics. It looks just.. outstanding. Amazing.

I heard the devs didn't have a proper PC demo for Crysis 2. So the the devs took the console demo and added PC controls thinking the gamers would be happy after whining about no PC demo. The PC gamers now complain that the graphics sucks for Crysis 2. Lol

I'm saying what the whiner pc gamers have said in the forums. Doesn't mean I believe it, I utterly find it retarded they didn't have a proper PC demo for it. At least Bad Company 2 had a beta test for PC eventually.

The 'maximum' whatever voice over, male or female makes the suit sound like something developed for public demonstration, not combat. It's baloney. But if you don't want to allow me my subjective opinion, I could always shit all over yours.

Nothing wrong with this game...but I still find the experience, based on the demo, kind of disappointing in a way. I really wanted it to blow me away, and it didn't.
I suppose the multiplayer is vastly improved over Crysis 1, but I have played twice for 20 minutes or so each time, and after that I was bored. And not the kind of bored that additional maps would help...I'm pretty certain that 15-20 minutes is all the attention this game will/would ever get from me in multiplayer.
Cloak...wait 15 seconds....kill......recloak......fire on guy 7 levels higher, even though you completely get the drop on him and wtfpwn him he still kills you.
Yawn.
