This feels like a futuristic call of duty. All well it still is fun cloaking and such.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.

Played a bit more Crysis the other day. If I get Crysis 2, it'll only be if I can replace the stupid voice confirmation for suit powers with soft beep tones.
that changes everything!Cybargs wrote:
yeah what if i want 50% speed and 25% cloak and 25% defense?AussieReaper wrote:
What is I don't want maximum speed, and only want 75% speed and 25% extra strength?
then what?!
nvidia say the 580 gtx should get you 75 fps on hardcore, it does in this demo but this is only dx9, so dx 11 should be a lot less than that unless they severely optimise the finished game.Uzique wrote:
i run it on hardcore just fine... still not that impressed with the visuals, though. it definitely wasn't trailer/gameplay footage 'wow' factor.
hoping the dx10/dx11 content will somehow unlock some serious engine-magic.
It ran smooth for me on gamer..Kampframmer wrote:
I downloaded the demo and played 1 round. Now i didn't really knew the controls and I hadn't checked any of the options, I just jumped in and played. Naturally, it went like shit and I had to check the controls in the game. What bothered me though was how on gamer (I believe this is the lowest video setting) and still it didn;t play smooth
strange, my pc should be able to handle itRDMC wrote:

The PC gamers now complain that the graphics sucks for Crysis 2. Lol

Dropped it down to Gamer and it was very smooth and still looked fantastic - one thing I got to say, they've really outdone themselves on the graphics. It looks just.. outstanding. Amazing.

dude....the 'maximum x' is a key part in Crysis. It adds a certain cool factor to the suits. I watched the nanosuit trailer again just to hear that awesome voice.
One of my friends said he was considering buying this. It should be noted that this guy is notorious for not buying his games...
Imagine if a rifle had a voice like that?War Man wrote:
I do find the voice thing retarded. A suit able to enhance you wouldn't say what has been activated as the person who made that feature activate would already know what he fucking activated.
A spec ops soldier targetting an insurgent attaches a suppressor and switches the fire mode to full automatic "Full automatic suppressed mode," insurgent cocks his rifle and looks around "Bullet in chamber" and fires gun. That's what I imagine.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
