Think so. I'm looking back at the early pages of the thread and I remember it was midterms week that week, and I only had one so I went to the midnight launch and did nothing but play the majority of that day 100% survival, yes.

Surprising too, I rarely play a game for more than 1-2 hours at a time.

Great game ruined by shitty mining though. I think the combat and levelling were good in this one. The thing I didn't like was that fact that the old one was more open world. This one held your hand quite a lot.

I still remember beating this game in 3 days. Fastest I've ever beat a game of such length.

I miss it... but yet, I really have no desire to play the DLC?
Skip all the exploration I take it?

Not at all, actually. Pretty much did everything I needed to do.

There is at least 15% of the game in the planetary "anomalies" around the various solar systems...

And depending on how long you play each day, 3 days doesn't say much in itself

I have tried going paragon in my second playthrough but it's just too easy being a douche! Shadow broker was so so.

If you enjoy watching a good sci-fi movie, you will enjoy playing ME1 & 2

I found that the story is well told and there is plenty of backstory to read through the codex and such...

tl;dr worth it

You can only player as one Character, Commander Shepard. If you want the player class, Soldier is probably the most newbie friendly. Though the other classes are often considered more rewarding by advanced players.

Yeah soldier is good for a first playthrough, but all the ammo skills seem kind of wasted in my opinion, choose one you like and focus on that... (Fire deals bonus damage to armor and health, which most enemies have)

You should probably stay away from Infiltrator and Vanguard unless you play on easy difficulty for your first playthrough though...

It is, but if you are not familiar with the controls or game mechanics, charging into the middle of a group of enemies can be risky... hence the motto of the Vanguard "High-risk - High-reward"

Take a look at the DLC aswell, alot of them are pretty good... (Kasumi + Shadow Broker in particular)

I think so.... You can't change much in-game... use the external "configuration" that comes with the game

EDIT: I looked in the external, doesn't seem so... why would you it's perfect the way it is default?

Don't play as a Soldier, Christ. Talk about the most boring way to play the game. By FAR.

Play as the Vanguard in ME2. Always.
