what
Wow, what the fuck last.fm. I change my password to my account, log out then back in, fix the password in the last.fm scrobbler settings, and it won't scrobble to my profile. It's detecting the song I'm playing and says scrobbled after a while, but still won't upload it to my profile. Even went as far as completely removing last.fm from my computer and then reinstalling it along with the plugins. Still the same old thing, detects song and says scrobbled, but won't upload to profile.
Suggestions?

Try changing your password back to what it was?
Not exactly a fix, but meh

Maybe it takes a while to update and synchronise properly across their servers, or something.
Try changing it and then leaving it for 12hours or so.

Changed pw again. It doesn't even scrobble the shit from the radio player embedded in their own webpage.
Oh well, gonna wait it out and see what happens.
Well it seems to be working. I wonder if disabling iPod scrobbling had something to do with it. Every time I opened iTunes, the scrobbler would pop up with a little tool tip telling me not to close it while it syncs for iPod scrobbling. Decided I should disable that.
Never fucking mind. Shit stopped scrobbling after 1 or 2 songs. Changed password back. Shit's fine again. Ugh. Whatever.

I know it's somewhat of a cliche.. but music really can be drug like in the fact it has the ability to take you away. Last night I was sitting under the stars watching the meteor shower. That was epic enough on it's own, but the event was taken to another level whilst playing the appropriate playlist. For two hours or so I was in another world. Reality faded, and it was quite relaxing. That shit is nothing short of magical.

I love it when music takes you to another place, so to speak.
I guess I've got to try listening to music someplace other than at my desk. People always say stuff like that and I usually think they're a bit loony.
Absolutely. If you can't completely relax you can't completely enjoy the music. Content is also important .

My iPod will not scrobble for love or money. I really don't know what the deal is. I'm just going to move as much as I can over to my droidx. Prolly pick up a bigger sd card this weekend.

very interesting use of last.fm's charts/statistics to profile important musical demographics... always intriguing
i remember the days when radiohead and the beatles would routinely top the charts... how the community has changed!

I like the little graphs showing, essentially, when the artists' new albums were released.

30 Seconds to Mars is still around?
I really had no idea that a whole bunch of those artists were so popular.

You had the same amount of plays as the guy above you. What do you think happened?DonFck wrote:
