In my books, I'd replace Doherty with Hauritz, put Hughes in for the injured Katich, and maybe put Johnson back in for Bollinger, if Johnson can get his arm back up again. If North fails at the WACA, then I'd think about dropping him. Then again, I'm not a selector

Im sure having 4 paceman and no spinners has something to do with it aswell. I think our biggest problem we have right now is what the English team had for the last 20 odd years. no consistency in the team. players a being dropped left and right and new players being picked up and dropped again. Let the team get some experience together and a chance to grow and we might be ok. Dont know what the fuck is up with the selectors lately.
