Meaningless laborious tasks? Did you never play with legos as a kid? The act of designing and building something just for its own sake is fun all in itself. Why do people waste years of their life designing and upgrading their homes? 99% of the time the design has no functional purpose but it makes the owner happy and gives him or her a sense of accomplishment when it is completed. I tried.. didn't work well. It's designed badly, you need a couple of blocks of height from where the whole thing is built to force the mobs under.. To make it work I'd have to remake your whole castle.. which I cba doing
Well I built the castle before I knew about traps.
I built the one outside my castle using a video tut, then decided to try it as a moat.
There's one part of it where I think it could work (where I put some extra blocks that connect the ground to the celing), but for some reason the water stopped flowing into the little "collection canal" around that part.
