I used to have my cable management pretty good, it was all behind where the motherboard gets screwed too - where theyre supposed to be - but still managed to attract a shit load of dust within a couple of days.SonderKommando wrote:

My rig always picks up dust no matter where it is, on a table, floor, wherever.

Yeah having a metal case sat on a carpet collecting static is never going to help matters, but actually getting the hoover out a couple of times a week will solve a lot of problems too

800D has huge bottom dust filter that sorts out most of the problem, (some small dust gets through like always).

Can't see a need for filters either tbh, I have none and like I said my case is 99% dust free.
Megahalems and Scythe Kaze Server installed. Both really good stuff. Immediately hooked double the fans on the Scythe without any problems, it can feed monstrous array of fans. <3
Also turned around the back case fan, now its direct intake to CPU area.

I also have another rig we bought several years ago(before this rig, so like ~4 years ago, for ~$300) that is an Athlon XP(2500+?) ~1.83GHz, 256 MB RAM, and some kind of graphics The guy we bought it from was from our church and he installed some fail pirated XP on it that would constantly pop up the "This copy of Windows is not Genuine" message I sometimes use it as an iPod charger [sarcasm]now that rig's just blazing fast[/sarcasm]
