Would this PC do any of the above?

Also I'm pretty sure it's all compatible right?
I recommend i5 750 (if you mainly game) or i7 920 (if you encode/other HT supported tasks more), Samsung F3 7200rpm HDDs and ATi (HD5770/5850/5870) instead of the above...

Raptors make tons of noise with no results tbh..

i7 930 D0

No need to buy the 920, the 930 is faster, and the same price

Ditch the Velociraptor, and get a 5850 instead of the nVidia

I concur with the brothers tweedle dee and tweedle dum above.  the 275 is obsolete, get a 5850/70 or wait a few more weeks and get a 480/70GTX.  Ive personally had TERRIBLE quality with Corsair XMS ram, but that was the dominator line and it was DDR2.. Otherwise, that rig will play all high w/ good FPS.  Rig in my sig nets me 60FPS on all high @ 1680x1050 w/ 4xAA (which is similar to what you are getting)

Wahey! Enemy bought a new Club 3D Ati Radeon HD 5850 Overclocked Edition 1GB for himself and I took his Ati Radeon HD 3870 for loans until I'm arsed to get a new one. BC2 rolls nicely on medium now

Medium with a 5850? You should be able to play well on high.

It wasn't him who got a 5850. He got the old 3870

You unlocked it to a quad? Well played though, I'm still struggling at 25fps average

Yeah, as long as your mobo supports it, there's a lot of articles on the net on how to unlock that particular CPU from a dual to a quad because AMD used the exact same chips for both purposes, and hoped noone would find out... lo and behold...

Once unlocked you can also o/c it from 3.1Ghz to 3.7Ghz

I even found a vid for it simply by googling "550 unlock"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huKVYW4duiU

And a guide on boards and BIOS versions that support it:
