so what is the deal with this thing? do rockets actually track the target, or do they just kind of veer into it? i thought it was going to let AT guys shoot from cover, but i never hit the tank when it has a tracer on it.
Did you make sure to actually let the rocket lock on first?
It does actually track the vehicle. You just gotta aim down the scope of the launcher, point it at the orange square for a few seconds, let it lock on (you will see the distance...that is the indicator) and fire away. What I usually do is that if a target is obstructed by a wall or a small hill or Im on an elevated position is to lock on and fire the rocket straight up all Javelin Like. Its quite effective most of the time.

Yes from behind cover, aim at the orange square. Wait until white numbers Apear under the orange box. Once you see that am at the sky an fire. If the vehicle is behind something, building or hill, the rocket may be hitting that. Or the vehicle has the perk that will remove the tracer.
also the m136 does not work with it since you guide it yourself
This all makes sense now, i was just firing at the the tank without tracking the dart. I always missed and thought either the dart gun was retarded or me, i now have the answer.
tracering (Most people I play with call it the tracer, not the dart) people is also fun.

No, but the RPG that follows it is lethal. Plus they're headshot magnets with that flashing red thing on their brain.Blade4509 wrote:

I was tracering all my teammates before. We looked like a bunch of christmas trees running around the map
