I thought my pc wouldnt be able to have the graphics
im wondering what your pcs running bc2 at

im getting a solid 40fps at 1980@ high settings w/ full servers

specs: 5770 1gb vapor
3.0 C2d
2gb ram

i was going to buy a 2.88 QC off a friend but i guess i dont need it

I got very minor lag on SP with a Q9400 OC'd to 3.2ghz...4gb ... 8800gtx... picking up a 4890 from craigslist tonight
and will see if that is better?

Update: 4890 is much smoother than the 8800gtx... no lag at all

You live in Europe so im guessing its a crack they said that quad cores where rendering faster then the gpus causing lag like issues have you looked at your actual fps

This is a legal, non-cracked copy, fresh from EA downloader. FPS measured by EVGA precision.

What's weird is that I never go over 25% CPU utilization (i.e. 1 core only). Doesn't frostbite support multiple cores? The GPU only gets ~75% utilization according to GPU-Z too. Earlier I had a huge memory leak. Something is clearly wrong

Updating to the newest Forceware helped a little. Maybe the drivers still aren't properly optimized for SLI. I'll try turning it off.

OC is stable. Gave it a long huge (10GB problem size) run with LinX.

So it's even less optimized than Crysis? IMO you need quite a bit more than 60fps to play competitively in any game

I used to think BF2 ran fine when I had an ATI x550 running at about 30fps 800x600 all low, until I got a better PC

Well I'm still on XP so only Direct X 9 and therefore only AA 1x.
But all other settings are on high and it runs fine, will check fps in a bit, if I can get onto a server that is...
