I think a little mess can be excused with that much gear attached lol. It's a lot tidier than mine and mine only has 3 HDDs That said it is in an Antec 900, which is the worst case ever for cable management, and I am phenomenally lazy when it comes to cable routing.

They're normal 2.5'' 5400RPM HDDs. I hate slow drives in laptops so I always end up replacing them with a SSD or a 7200RPM drive. Figured I might get some use out of the 5400RPM ones in the server. They're all 250-500GB. Good enough to dump some music on them. Didn't have any 2.5'' to 3.5'' adapters left, so now they're just on the bottom of the case.

Anyhow. I have 2 SSDs in my laptop. They run pretty cool
