Follow the vid on the first page that Irish posted. That should do the trick. If you want to increase strength, then hold a weight on your chest or behind your neck and do crunches with that.

With abs, it should never be an alternating exercise, it should be the start of all your workouts, for at least 7 minutes. That way you will see huge improvements in little time.

Lol thanks man. I do feel fat as fuck right now.. I hate the tradeoff with being lean vs bulking. I love being shredded when I'm lean but I love the strength gains whe bulking..Totally a case of having your cake and eating it too.

About the abs thing, I do 4x12 "slow" reps every other night before going to bed, and in the gym there's a machine for doing crunches with weight added, I usually add around 62kgs (I'm only 65kgs myself) and do 4x12 reps.
My abs aren't defined yet, but I'm not sure if it's because of my muscles (or lack of :p) or bodyfat%/diet..

Also, it's safe to say 'lifting' helps you abs too, for example Squats/Deadlifts/.. work your core too (correct me if I'm wrong)

I got out the shower on Saturday evening to notice the damage i'd done to my delts, got a cluster of blood marks beneath my skin on each shoulder and some nice brown/yellow bruising

Perhaps i should tone it down a little.
