Nevertheless, I'm still gonna "pick it up" just to give it a shot. At $60, I'd be extremely wary, but this way, I don't have to worry about that crap.

It's not even that. BC2 just looks more fun, less aggravating and a generally better experience than MW2. I'm enjoying MW2, it's just too hectic for me to call it my favorite game atm.

I've been reading threads on the IW forums, apparently host migration is broken on the PC, and requires allot of port forwarding, however as IWNet doesn't discern between people with locked/unlocked ports, it will often migrate the host to locked connections, then no one can connect to the host so its /fail.

BC1 was a fantastic game that received just enough attention that made it golden--it wasn't over hyped so the developers didn't feel pressured/have to live up to anything (other then the BF name), and it wasn't completely ignored.  It had some ground breaking changes and was a good first run of their Frost Bite engine, which should hopefully be more tweaked in BC2.  The videos that have been put out so far look excellent, the game looks pretty polished already.

It's a step in the right direction for the BF series.  They could probably ditch the corny campaign, but I suppose it's for the lulz anyways.

have you played? the deagle sights are not only nothing like real gun sights, they're aiming right.

also, no prone...

dogs and dogs animations are exactly the same as cod4

I think Razor still requires Steam. The Skidrow release doesn't.

Also, the friendly AI is fucking retarded. I've been killed so many times by some guy who charges past 40 teammates who completely ignore him.
