Yeah, that's why I never went down the route of doing my PC up. The games don't justify it enough, there's more to gaming than just FPS, most of my games aren't FPSSEREMAKER wrote:

Protip: You don't HAVE to upgrade, it's people WANT to. For example I'm gaming on a computer that cost me £300 a year ago. Today I'd be able to pick it up for £200, maybe £180 if I shopped around, with deals etc. Compared to an XBox Arcade, that's £215, I can run every game that's out just now, and more that are out for XBox, with higher specs and better graphics. I don't see the point in getting an XBox when you can get a computer at that price which is much better value for money, and pretty much everyone needs a computer anyway.Mekstizzle wrote:

Sorry if this was a bit of a ramble I've been doing multiple things at the time of writing
I would have got it on my PC, but my GFX card (I think it was) didn't make the grade. Looking into getting a new one at some point for BFBC2 so I can hopefully play that online with some of the BF2s EU squad again.
Installing it right now, but I have to go back to school for a couple hours and wont be really able to play it when I get home.

I was going to get this even with the stupid dedicated server news (Yeah I changed my mind) but after seeing that M4 recoil video I can't imagine how shit filled this game is. Such a shame.

Gameplay wise they're both the same I think, just hardened edition has the steel box, artbook and CoD1 dl code.

i watched a live pc stream for about 2 maps... it looked fucking awful. not even biased, i actually wanted to like this game in a way because im so bored of every other game that i own right now. a half-decent title would keep me perfectly satisfied up until the xmas season. but the live stream made it look awful. it's modern warfare - an ezemode game - diluted a little more. the pop-ups on screen, the score-announcements, the blood-effect... it all looks terrible. maps seemed of a decent-size, but the guns and gameplay again involved 'point+click' simplicity... no recoil, no deviation, just a fancy-skinned laser tag. no thanks.
