1) more perks with a smaller map turns the game into a steroid version of shipment... which i hate that map with a passion
2) makes finding the other gang harder. small maps in COD4 made it easy to find the very obvious campers.

I played it untill the beginning of 2009, suddenly it got boring as hell.

i played BF2 for about a year and a half. probably one of the most addictive games i ever played. great game and the scope of the game was really huge. but having a greater scope than COD4 meant that it was easily abused and unfortunately people took advantage of it.
i played COD4 , for the same amount of time, it wasnt as big as BF2. but it had the same initial addictiveness like bf2 then dies out. i guess every game is like that with the exception of WOW.

Anyway, m40 acog is great if you actually wanna run around with your team and annoy people. acog barret is only good on bog, and if the other team is plain stupid.

Singleplayer alone was worth the purchase. PLayed MP for quite some time, then got bored. Jump in from time to time with a friend, just for the lulz and due to lack of an alternative. It´s okay for the odd round nowadays. Love the low learning curve giving you results very quickly.
