Well Thursday September 3 marks the start of the 2009 college football season.

9 games this evening. To kick off the evening there will be a cluster fuck of a game featuring USC (South Carolina) and NCST. I only say cluster fuck because I am a fan of rival to these teams. Line NCST 5.0

Then the following game we will see if Oregon is any good when the travel to Boise to play on the blue turf. expecting a lot of scoring. Line Boise 3.0

Lolol, so much hatred. He deserved punishment, but it's kind of hard to justify an entire year considering the BSU player received nothing. Both him and the fans were gloating/egging him on. If you watch the video, you'll note his is relatively calm until the fans lean over and say something. Both instances of an immature need to say something funny causing an immature player to get angry. (Moreover, considering precedent for punishment for these instances, such as the pathetic Miami players and the Nebraska player who changed and actually hit a fan - neither of which resulted in full season suspension - it seems a bit harsh). And l2read pl0x - he'll still be able to practice with the team, and will still have his scholarship. He hasn't been kicked off by any measure.

I heard suspended indefinitely and assumed off of the team. Big balls on Oregon coach to make such a decision. Oregon was banking on that running back.
Honestly though if you where a BS fan in the stadium you would be yelling shit at him also. LOL on sportsmanship day.

First Saturday of the season should be good with all of the games. Clemson faces a cupcake and nothing good can come from it.

Lol, yes. Sportmanship day was such a farce, and everyone knew it would be. Blount's punihsment can be found here, and you'll see they basically just prohibited him from playing games. I guess, if he's motivated, he'll be able to stay in shape for the NFL draft. And yes, you'd be yelling at him, but goading him on when he's right next to you is a bit immature.

Yeah, it should be. I just hope the Alabama - VT matchup doesn't turn out to be a one-sided beatdown by either team. I think there is a real possiblity considering the questions both teams have.

Well, it wasn't exactly phenomenal during the season, either. I guess we'll see how both Florida and Alabama are this season, though.

And yeah, I can't wait to see the Georgia-Oklahoma State game. Major props to Georgia for actually trying in their schedule.

Well, we played to a 63-7 win over WKU behind about 650 total yards of offence. Granted, some believe WKU to be a step up from Mother Margaret's Day School for Blind Girls ... but, still it is good that the Vols finally beat a team the way we are supposed to.

If Fulmer were still the coach, we would have won 24-14 and never seen Bryce Brown, Oku or Teague. The sun that rises definitely has an orange glow to it now! We'll see if they are really any good at UCLA next week.
