Deflated sense of 'achievement' yet? You could have spent those 1,000 hours becoming actually good at the game instead of indulging in useless pub-hero activities and lonewolf solo play. D'oh!

Exactly, "fun" is entirely subjective and a matter of opinion. I play pubs just as often lately as I play anything else, and I find it fun for what it is.
If you are going to be a needlessly provocative dick, at least be consistent in what you say and imply while doing so. It seems quite pathetic if you don't ensure continuity of thought.
"Fun for what it is" =/=
Useful, with merit, an achieving use of playtime etc.etc.
Unless one considers having fun to be merit itself, as is, you know, the purpose of the game.
By the way Nobchuck or whatever you're called, it seems rather as though one is posting from artifice rather than demonstrable genuity when one types with bullshit phrases such as "continuity of thought" and uses such slipshod sentence grammar in order to sound magniloquent. All that you end up doing in real actuality is to portray yourself as someone deserving ignominy rather than obeisance.
Its cool to use big words. Really, 'continuity of thought' makes perfect sense, communicates something, and is more fluid in the sentence. If you want to illustrate how I could have done it without such a "bullshit phrase", you are free to include that in your response. You are a masters candidate (or whatever the English equivalent is) for an English degree, so please, go ahead.
You're not quite at Harvard yet kid, get off my dick and stop trying to lace together disparate and out-of-context quotes in order to desperately 'one up' me in some petty 'intellectual' way. Everyone can type in an overly elaborate and prickish way too -- see George Orwell On English, the writing tips will probably help you with your over-rated Ivy League essays .
Rather touching considering where you are studying. I'm not sure where the Harvard comment came from, though, since I won't be going there, and won't ever be. Or are you just voicing displeasure that elite colleges in America are no longer the domains of the wealthy, unlike in England (see, I can make stupid inflammatory statements, too)?
Anyways, I wasn't trying to lace together disparate phrases to one-up you; if you would like to explain how you arrived at that conclusion, I would love to hear it.
I've also read George Orwell's essay (really its
On Politics and the English Language). Considering your posts exhibit much of the same language mine do, perhaps we could start a self-help group together using his work to improve our writing.

Cool quoting out of context, bro.
Explain or get the fuck out of this. It must be fun riding on Uzique's coattails while knowing you aren't smart enough to do anything more than cheer him on as he cogently (at least partially) states what you think. Really, though, I wouldn't expect that much more out of you.
