Nvm. I understood his post. I just wasn't aware that they'd updated TF2 again.

And yes we have played in the same server; I've joined your games several times and you have dropped by my local pub-haunts (e.g. HH, Boontex) several times when you're not busy whining and saying how utterly terrible the game is .
The SMG is a defensive weapon which can't be used offensively. It's like saying the scout is a long range class because they get an accurate pistol. Also what's a pub haunt? What's HH and boontex? I never remember playing you but ok.

The Ambassador does not fit the Spy's proper play style at all.

The only time I use it is when there's a sentry humper who is hard to backstab, so I can take him out with a head and body shot, then sap his stuff.
No it doesn't. It rewards spies who go for headshots with the revolver. It doesn't infringe on any other aspect of the spy's playstyle unlike the huntsman which promotes chestshots over headshots.

To be really effective with it you can't hang back either, you have to be reasonably close or anybody who knows what the w and a keys do can dodge your shots.

It's also not the easiest weapon in the world to hit with. Unless the enemy is on the cart.

Last point, if the sniper is meant to go for headshots why do charged shots from the sniper rifle kill snipers, scouts and engineers in one hit?
Kills 175HP classes in chestshots when fully charged. Same reason there are critical hits and the backburner in the game.

It can be used just as offensively - headshot + finish with SMG, plus anyone with a basic grasp of the weapon can take out low-hp classes entirely with the gun. No weapon is really that narrow in its use, it's all to do with how you use it. Someone that picks up the Huntsman and plinks headshots at short-med range is going to rape faces, period, and probably deservedly-so considering what a knack it is to learn the weapon properly.

And what's a "pub-haunt"? Are you kidding me, you do understand the English language, right? Boontext and HH (Hampshire Heavies) are two very popular UK-based servers that I have seen you on from time to time, that is when you're not being a l33t pro playing insta-respawn or 24/7 Spam-Shit maps like Dustbowl or Payload.

Huh I just join whatever I don't have any favourite servers. I just try to avoid insta respawn or maps I don't like. Seriously though what's a pub-haunt. It's not english it's some dumb word you've made up or some word competitive players circle jerk with.

I love charging an arrow, aiming at head height, and then walking around a corner where I know there's, say, a Soldier + Medic combo at very close range, and letting the arrow loose.

Err, circle-jerk over? Pub = public server. Haunt = somewhere that someone goes often; to visit, to play, as if to haunt. It's hardly leetz0r nomencl4ture, it's two very simple English words put side-by-side. Quite surprised you struggle to interpret that...

Huntsman damage:
    *  Bodyshot: 44-58 (0% charge), 103-137 (100% charge)
    * Headshot: 153 (0% charge), 360 (100% charge)

Headshots do roughly THREE FUCKING TIMES the damage that a body shot does.

Just because you suck with it, doesn't mean it promotes something that shitty Snipers do.

i would reset my stats if:

-it wouldn't count against the partially achieved ones i have
-it didn't reset my time played.  seriously, i like seeing how much time i've played each class.

It's cool to see how your times have changed on before and after the reset though.

Before my reset, my most played classes were Spy and Sniper, then Engie. Rest weren't worth mentioning.

Now after the reset, I barely have any Engie hours, and Pyro is now my 3rd most played (inspired by Don Newman and Huey Lewis).
Spy and Sniper are still at the top though..
