I don't know, they do have a chance, but it's not because of the team's skill. The one variable in this entire series, and mark my words on this call, are the refs in the series. They ruined the series last year to the point where it almost was unberable. Of course it doesn't help that Montreal always dives and they hardly ever get called for that.Poseidon wrote:

Game 1 last year, the Bruins should have won. They were the dominant team. Game goes to overtime, Jeremy Reich gets blatantly high sticked in front of the ref, no call. Same shift, other end of the ice, Reich goes for a poke check and ends up tripping somebody, Reich gets the penalty. On the ensuing power play, Montreal scores and wins the game.
Game 6 was just hideous and I forgot about how bad it was until I watched the replay last night. Axelsson got an interference penalty for barely touching a Hab but it was such a blatant dive they got a diving penalty at the same time. At that point, Axe's penalty should have been cancelled because it really wasn't much of a penalty at all. Then 3rd period toward the end of the same game, Marc Savard gets blatantly hooked down right in front of the ref. It was so bad that his feet went forward and lifted up while his upper body was stuck because of the Canadiens stick, whoever it was.
I've said it to a couple of my friends already, the only thing to be afraid of in this series are the refs, they're known to have big "C"s on their shirts. And please don't give me this biased crap, watch the games and be honest. You'll see how biased refs are for Montreal, especially in Montreal.
Besides, who's going to answer the bell for Montreal? Georges Laraque? Milan Lucic brought out Laraque's true colors earlier this season. All he does is fight, he can't friggin play hockey at all. Bruins aren't going to waste their time with Laraque because they'll have to lose a hockey player for 5 minutes while Montreal just has to lose a goon for 5 minutes... I love how they have to sign a goon to fight the players' battles though. Last time somebody tried standing up against Lucic, this happened:
Oh ya, and Komisarek dislocated his shoulder, I'm sure he doesn't want to do that again. That's why instead of fighting people his size, Komisarek has to beat on small finesse players like David Krejci. Yup, lots of class up there in Montreal.

@ Frankie - Komisarek is a beast. He's from the town next to me, which could also mean he's going to be inclined to sign with us at free agency. But still, I don't see how Montreal will win barring a freaking miracle from happening.

It started off pretty slow but once Kessel scored it really picked up nicely.
All I have to say is that Kovalev goal was absolutely ridiculous.
