Oh man I feel bad for everybody here that the Boston-Philadelphia game isn't nationally broadcasted because this is one of the most entertained games I've seen all season. Huge hits, lots of transition, and plenty of intensity on both sides of the rink. Jack Edwards is the most random announcer too, Lucic laid somebody out from behind in the Flyers zone and Jack Edwards just yells, "OOOOOOHHHH LUCIC TAKES HIM OUT FROM BEHIND!!!!! Flyers fans want a call but they won't get one!!! Muahahahahaha!" That's right, he actually laughed menacingly.
Someone tell Mark Recchi to stop being so good when he's Fourty Fucking One years old.
I was just thinking about what could be if Recchi decided to resign with the Bruins. The chances of him being back are probably slim to none but he has 7 goals in 11 games. At that pace, in 82 games, he'd have another 50 goal season. I know it's a long shot, but on the Bruins and based by the way he's been playing, it would be nice to see.
Considering Chelios' age, I'd say it's plausible he resigns for next season, if not more.
Well he said in an interview in Boston when he was traded that if they win the Cup, he's definitely going to retire. He then added, if they don't win the Cup, he will likely retire. I know it's all just words and it could change, just saying. Also the Bruins are going to have some serious cap issues so I don't know how many people they'll even get to resign.

I said earlier that Jack Edwards had an evil laugh during the Bruins game last night, somebody posted it on youtube
BTW, I forgot to mention, there were several parts during the breaks where they'd play the organ, I think it might have been the "Charge!" song but they clearly aren't saying charge. Does anybody know what they yell over there?

Holy crap, hate to double post but did anybody see Anze Kopitar's brilliant shootout goal against Marty Turco last week?
Kopitar makes me cream in my pants. Srsly.
Lol @ Tocchet whining again and this time at Ruutu
"If I can get the coach rattled, it's a huge compliment to me," said Ruutu. "Maybe he should pay attention to his club. There's a lot more to worry about in his organization than me."
+1 Rudi

Somebody in a league I play in just sent out this video, check out this original shootout goal:
Great games by Carolina and the Blues today. Blues game isn't over, but it's 5-4 with very little time left.
I really, really hope they make the playoffs. They're like what the Caps were last year.

lol LaRose is funny
and thank god nashville lost
also, I was looking at Nashville's, Anaheim's and St. Louis' last 4 games... St. Louis has the easiest line-up by far.
St. Louis:
-Colorado
-Dallas
-Phoenix
-Columbus
Nsahville:
-Chicago
-Detroit
-Columbus
-Minnesota
Anaheim:
-San Jose
-San Jose
-Dallas
-Phoenix
I know anything can happen in this league, but I'd we have the odds to make it right now.

Anybody see Ballard's hit on Malkin?
Also tonight wasn't the game Montreal was supposed to lose. They'll have a pretty tough battle to make that playoff spot this season. Take a look at the current standings:
Montreal - 3GR - 92pts
NYR - 3GR - 89pts
Florida - 3GR - 89pts
Montreal's Games:
-NYR
-Boston
-Pittsburg
NYR's Games:
-Montreal
-Philadelphia
-Philadelphia
Florida's Games:
-Philadelphia
-Atlanta
-Washington
If the Rangers win that game against Montreal, that'll put NYR 1 point behind Montreal. If Montreal loses against Boston and Pittsburg (which the odds are against them), New York only needs 1 win out of the home and home with the Flyers to pass them for 7th. At that point, Florida would just be two wins shy of squeaking into 8th place. Montreal fans better pray they win against the Rangers.

If Montreal doesn't beat the Rangers I WILL go to Montreal and I WILL set some frenchies on fire.
No, I won't. But I'd like to.

nah. I dont want to see the habs in the playoffs.
Lol @ Cindy. What the duck for does he go apeshit over a perfectly clean hit? Hope Ballard got a standing ovation.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

Hmm. Since either the Habs, Rags or the Miami Pussikats have a chance winning anything this season I dunno who would be my pick to be left out of the playoffs. Koivu from MTL and Peltonen from FLA would assist team Finland with their leadership in may. If NYR goes out, Ulf and Rolf will have the joy of Lundqvist in the worlds.
After a 30s of thinking. I'd take Peltonen. MTL and NYR for the playoffs.
Epic Game tonight: Flames vs. Canucks with the Northwest Division at stake
Go Flames Go!
Spoiler (highlight to read):
too bad I get the feeling we are gonna lose this game
