I tried the search, but didn't come up with anything.

Since I installed EF, most servers I have played on, only seem to allow 1 squad. This may be on both teams, but obviously, I can only see my side.

It seems that Alpha squad is always there, and you can join that, or apply for Commander. But you can't make another squad, or a custom squad. Is this a common problem, or is it a server side option? Or possibly another bug?

Whatever the cause, it needs to be sorted. Its much harder to be commander, or even just a team player, when only 6 people have conact with the commander.

Anyone else seen this??

its a pretty common problem and i believe its a bug, not a server-side feature.  its happened since at least 1.03...and probably before that too although i dont remember.

even worse is that every once in a while you cant form any squads at all.

I didn't realise that its been happening for so long. I have only noticed it since I installed EF. And since EF, I haven't played either SF or Vanilla.

It's almost every server in EF, so they may have attempted to fix it, bt messed up? Oh well, could be worse. It could stop anyone being commander.

...funny thing is, ive gotten times when no one could be commander too.

i'll apply and either never get a message, or it'll say i've been outranked, but no one takes command.
