I'd say COD 4 actually.  Then again, with one playable character, price, gaz and the sergeant dead, the semi-surprise of actually surviving and not getting shot in the face is almost pleasant.

As for first missions, the first cod was pretty interesting when you find a friend hanging dead in a tree.  Reminded me of "The Longest Day" when one parachutist ends up in a well and presumably drowns.

Id like to see a timeframe when Price was going through, like more with MacMillan and shit. And when he says to Kamarov "Remember Beruit?" etc, maybe a time there. That would be a good gap filler.

Mind you, if the German thing goes ahead, I wouldnt want the character to die and thats it. I hate it when shit like that happens. Something cool, nice, like a fight with the Soviets then fight through Berlin to the Americans and surrender there, etc.
Then as a bonus mission, you team up with Americans and kill Commies

Price: "Is everyone alright? MILLS!"

This is the point. No matter how many infidels Allies you kill, your army would nearly always lose the battle and have to pull back. Perhaps they could make a video game from the German perspective 1939-1942 or so...
