Personally i think that the title of the Euro Force forum should be changed.
"Cause them brits have funny accents" ? wtf?
it is not us with the funny accents!! it is the bloody unknowns who have the funny accents!
when you get shot and are calling for a medic, it sounds like you are saying "Man down", think it is supposed to be "medic now" - sounds really calm though especially when you are critically injured!!

Someone should copy the sergeant from Dog Soldiers and make some of his lines from it part of the game.
I've allways loved the "Right, we are now up against live, hostile targets. So if little red riding hood shows up with a bazooka and an attitude, i expect you to chin the b*tch".
"...and i promise you they will be having your bollocks for breakfast."
"Hard boiled or fried sarge?"
"Scrambled."
And probably the best one; "Right, if we do happen to make contact, i expect nothing but grotuotus violence from the lot of you. Just cause we're firing blanks, doesn't mean we need to be having nice thoughts."

The worst voice over is probably of the medic, some french gay who talks like he has something is his ass, which won't come out.
"Mediek ici!"
I was lmao the first time I heard it.

I almost wet myself laughing when I first heard the SAS voiceovers. "We're losing this firefight, start fighting or you will be replaced"? "Enemy wheels [something that sounds like 'car sighted']"? Or (when critically wounded), what sounds like "Starlight"?? Wtf is starlight?theDude5B wrote:

And as for Australian Forces... "I need a medic" = "Requesting Vegemite"?

urrrghhh vegemite...
The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

Think about it: Vegemite could wake the dead.
I go out of my way, to not sound like Steve Irwin.
It's like saying all Americans sound like 'Cletus' (Some folk won't eat a skunk, then some folk'll, like Cletus: the slack-jawed yokel), nobody likes it.
Personally, I think the voices should have been Romanian. For a little flair.

I set my game to English Only voiceovers in the Audio menu. That I always know what everyone is doing, regardless of what team I'm on. On the other hand, I have been the victim of an enemy medic and his shockpaddles more than once that way.
I don't think Romania is a member of the EU, not yet at leastJakethe8lf wrote:

edit : I looked it up, and Romania is joining 1/1/07. My bad

It's a hybrid between French and German accents, sometimes it's clearly French(Medeek ici!),sometimes it's German(the commander pronounces stuff so badly like one of my old English teachers)....
They should have sticked to one language for the EU,either French or German.
The French voiceovers don't sound that bad,for a German the German voiceovers are a bit strange(Where I come from nobody talks that way).

I'm English, but I seem to recognise one of the voices as an American 'comic' actor called PeeWee Herman, (I think). Can someone from the US confirm this, (provided you're old enough I guess)
By the way BigglesPiP, your spec beats my Sinclair Spectrum hands down. Kudos.
That would be all over BF2 news if it was! :p I can't seem to recognize him in the voices, so I'm saying no.acsman50 wrote:
