That doesn't make much sense. Doesn't the 285 have higher stock clocks than the 260?GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:
actually they are based on GTX 285 cores... at stock voltage they go around 680. extra voltage does wonders for the B3 cores but temps are starting to limit my oc. 93c max load....Freezer7Pro wrote:
Aren't GTX295s based on the GTX280? I run my GTX260 on 730/1468/1215, shouldn't GTX280 cores go higher?GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:
hahahaha what the fuck what a bs oc... I'm at 666/1436/1200 atm and pretty much every GTX 295 goes at least this high lol...
edit: actually the gtx 260 cores usually clock a bit higher than GTX 280...
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
