I searched and didn't find a solution so I thought I'd post how I got mine to work.
This requires 2 computers:  your x64 machine which you play BF2 on and a 32-bit machine to purchase Euro Forces.

1) go to the ea downloader site (downloader.ea.com) on your 32-bit machine
2) purchase Euro Force on this machine
3) on your x64 machine open EA downloader and like *magic* Euro Forces is in your available downloads
4) download, install and enjoy

Of course this will require you to use the same username and password on both computers.

Damn it doesn't work on Anthlon 64 bit computers? Holy shit. My brother has one so I guess I'll just do that for him.

Well I don't know what your talking about but it works fine on my athlon 64. Might want to try something else before you jump to some rediculous conclusion like that. What he means is Windows 64 bit. Not sure why it wouldn't work, but mine worked fines. EA/DICE suck nough said...

I think he is refering to the x2 line of AMD 64 bit processors, not he Athlon64 line. Because I have the Athlon64 3700 and I've had no trouble, I've just played all 3 new maps.

DOH !  you're talking about windows 64 bit OS.
Sorry.

I have AMD 64 X2 4400 and dont have a drama. Try setting your affinity to either CPU 1 or 0. I have also played a couple hours in the new maps and theyre sweet.

thank you.  i was referring to those who are running a 64-bit operating system (Windows x64).  64-bit processors running 32-bit windows are not effected at all.

Did exactly what you noted above.  Purchased on my Windows XP laptop.  Downloaded on my Windows XP64 gaming rig.  No glitches at all.  Thanks for helping me avoid a major headache.

I'm running x64 on a 4800+, and had 0 problems getting the downloader and installing euroforces. Not one hicup. What happened to you that you had to develop this workaround?

I'm also running XP PRO x64 on an Athlon 64.  Worked just fine.
