Knew they were cheating ...
Well... tbh, I didnt expect this harsh a penalty...
but...they were caught blatantly cheating...

Personally, I think NASCAR did the right thing...

i actually expected a harsher penalty on the point side.
Yeah, me too Turtle. But the standard has been set: 150/150 suspensions/indefinate suspensions...so NASCAR stayed within the standard, but it really should have been more harsh.
They were intentionaly cheating...
Those indefinate suspensions arent ussually turned around. Those guys may be out of a job. Hate that for'em.
Now Bristol hehe
The meat grinder

What I'm wondering and the article doesn't state clearly is if the magnents where placed there inbetween post race inspection and impounding for the dyno test. Who ever did do that is going to be in serious trouble. I hope Joe and JD find out who did it and takes them to cleaners. One of the things I like best JGR is they are usually one of the cleanest teams around. I feel sorry for Joey Lagono with the driver point penalty. He's been running good and not tearing up cars. I don't think Tony cars about the points in the Nationwide Series but he does care about the wins.TC.Troy wrote:

Well, I did'nt wander that at all really. To me it's obvious. They could'nt have been put there before the race...surely to God, no team member in there right mind would have reduced the power on the car, intentionaly, and on race day for pete sakes...
Imo, it's obvious there were installed post race/pre-dyno impound.
And yeah, no matter who drives for JGR, and my opinion of them, I will always have great respect for coach Joe, and his son (not so much, but still...) they run a class act no matter what they get in to.
Broke my heart really, to see them go to Toyota, but only because of the shit they would/will/have gotten...but I can see why they did it. They don't do shit thats not good for the organization.
the record they have speaks for itself...
and they were NEVER going to be #1 with GM...not so long as Hendrick Motor Sports existed...

Not going to Bristol tonight, nor tommorow night. Would rather watch this race at home...the night race is something special really.
Too bad I've got to work tonight and tomorrow or I'd ask for you tickets to go.TC.Troy wrote:

Busch practice atm, and they are already killing cars...
Well, here it is...
500 laps around Bristol...if the 88 tonight, is even almost as good as the 88 was last night...Dale will have a good night. That Navy #88 was wicked fast last night.
Tonights race should be fun
**Hey Tony Jr!! Go talk to Tony Sr. about how NOT to FUCK-UP a perfectly good racecar!!!!!**
