In his quote and statement he said "...WAS doing..." which means he already said what you just tried to prove wrong. He was saying it was done in the past and is no longer doing it.

On the flip side, if you still believe he meant still doing it, you ARE still doing this thread. But this part is relevant to what he implied "this" to be.

No assumptions are made from your statement that English is meant exclusively. So its wrong; "continued" is not even a word in Russian, which nulls out the whole statement involving "dis".
