PVP, the point is to kill, not withstand. Amarr, contrary to popular beliefs play a very vital role in PvP, especially in fleet and blob warfare. The ships are the most durable of the races and the EM/Thermal are most effective against shields, unless of course they are shield resistance tankers which is pretty rare itself due to the effectiveness of shield boosting. Well fitted Harbingers are notorious in the Sukanen region for being hard to kill and being quite deadly. I haven't seen a fight there yet where a harbinger wasn't leading the charge. Go read the faction warfare sections on the EVE forums and tell me what ship name comes up most often in the Amarr/Minmatar conflict, and this is a
battlecruiser in a fleet of battleships and the like.
Either way, the fact remains, Caldari are prolific mission runners. Amarr is EVE in hardmode and makes you a better player for enduring AFAIC.
