Btw. Ninja.
I lolled at Tridgit's reaction to you having less learning sp than me
Tridget is probably the most knowledgeable and wise person I've met in EvE thus far. He knows his shit upside down, backwards and mirrored.
And this would explain why Ninja ignored everything bit of advice given to him and did the exact opposite of what Tridgit advised. Ninja, your skills look like AIDS. Seriously, do you have ADD when it comes to skill training?

Yeah, he went through the roof when I asked him how Cybie was in INEVE with less learning points then meThorax wrote:

Fly to Goram. Dock at the Kaalakiota Factory and apply to TalCorp. Tell them Cougar sent you.Adams_BJ wrote:

Bernie: Some important info you may want to put up on the OP.
ATTN: NEW PLAYERS
If you are new to the game, please do not try to go it alone at first as this will lead to a lot of wasted time and effort. Please make sure you contact myself (Cougar), Ninja, Bernie, Spark or Jestar and find out where we are.
Currently the majority of us are operating out of Dodixie or Aunia . If you are interested in missioning with us, please set course for one of these systems (and they are only a few jumps from each other.) If you need help hauling let me know. This is the area we are currently running missions in and we are capable of running Level 1, 2, 3 and 4's from this area so there is something for everyone. If you know what Level mission you would like to run you can go straight to the system:
DISCLAIMER: WE WORK FOR THE FEDERATION NAVY
If your standing is so low that you get shot at by the SG's or if you are worried about losing standing with a corp hostile to the Federation Navy please contact myself or Spark so that we can make sure you will or will not hurt your standings or get shot at. Keep in mind all LP points, standing and faction increases are for Gallente and Federation Navy. All damages and fittings are geared towards anti-gallente factions so you may need to refit your ship for DPS and Tanking purposes. If this is the case please contact myself or Spark as we can provide the proper advice and funds if needed. Also, some of us older characters receive implants from time to time for mission rewards and have no use for them, don't hesitate to ask and see if we have what your looking for before you spend millions on them in the market.

Anyone may join us, do not let ship size or skill points dissuade you. Spark, Bernie and Myself will have no problems with the killing, it would be nice however to have cruisers or battlecruisers to take care of annoying enemy frigates. Also, we could always use dedicated looters in small fast frigates and dedicated salvagers in destroyers. Everyone can play an important role and while it may seem boring, think of it as training time to see how it's done, skill point training time for getting into better ships and free money and LP points so that when the time comes you can afford that new shiny ship and fit it properly without mooching off someone.
CORPS
Currently our group is spread out between two large corps and a few smaller ones. I highly recommend joining one of these as it makes fleets, loot gathering, communication gang bonuses and reward systems much more simple, streamlined and efficient.
TalCorp-LTCE
This is the corp that Cougar, Kilmako, Jestar, and a few others belong to and is the majority holding corp that we belong too. Others may soon be defecting into it as well. This corp only accepts FULL accounts and no trials. Our headquarters are in Goram-Kaalakiota Factory. We are an Anti-Pirate/Industrial corp and we operate in both high-sec and low-sec. We do have nightly low-sec pirate hunts and bi-weekly mining ops in hi and lo-sec territories. We also have a PoS if you do research and we are able to build ships for members given they provide the materials. We are also aligned with CVA and the Sukanen Defense Force.
Infortunas Eventus-INEVE
This is the corp that Lib-Slayer, Ninja, and Bernie(soon) belong too. INEVE is a 0.0 corp with a NBSI (not blue shoot it) philosophy. The operate solely in 0.0 and are completely PvP oriented unless separated from the main corp as Bernie and Ninja are in high-sec. Trial accounts are not accepted as far as I know and there is a skill point requirement for people the CEO is not personally acquainted with. Very nice corp if you are wanting to engage in free for all PvP.
Also, if you would like help with skill training or just need tips on what to train next, please send your LIMITED API KEY to myself or Spark. This can be found at http://myeve.eve-online.com/api/default.asp? . We will need both the user ID and the long line of gibberish after it. This is by no means mandatory or required and is completely optional.
Lastly, we have a BF2s channel opened in EvE. If you have not already been invited to this channel please contact myself, Spark, Bernie or Lib Slayer and we can get you added in ASAP. This makes communication much more easy and efficient than trying to call everyone on Skype.

If you're running missions with me, just don't get too close. I like to use my smartbomb.
If you're getting shot at by sentries in Gallente space, I strongly suggest training up Diplomacy to lvl 3 or 4. That will erase a negative 1.5-2 standing.

So question I have is, does your username reflect ingame to your character?

Cougar, INEVE currently has no SP limit for new members, but we need to get numbers and they prefer members that someone in the corp knows (our case, bf2s). Tridgit, our corp leader won't let you out in a frigate in PVP unless you have about 4.6 mil SP.
Learning skills should be one of the first skills to train imo, since they lower training time of other skills DRAMASTICALLY.
Good post cougar.

At the begining I fucked up skills training... Now I'm going to put all my skills to all the learning till the basic ones are LV 5 then train other shit. Need more gunnery and drone skills tbh.Thorax wrote:

Hey, your first few months of skill training will never be as misguided as mine.cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:

You do need all your basic skills up though. Almost all the decent or good bc/bs fits that you need to run lvl4's (at least the ones that give you good tank AND good damage output) require engineering 5, electronics 5, cap skills at 4/5 (the recharge one at 5, the other at 4) etc. etc.

Think if I fight 3 repair rigs I could probably tank the whole left side
I have mechanic to 5 but the cap skills to only 4.. I can run 4's well but I have 3 ccc rigs on my abbadon.
I dual rep tank when I'm getting beaten badly.
my setup goes like this
8 mega modulated pulse lasors with amarr navy microwave/standard/multifreq
my mids are filled with 4 cap recharger 2's
my lows go like this: 2 t2 large armor reppers, 1 t2 cap power relay, and 4 active hardeners.
the only difference is when I have a mission that requires me to shoot farther targets 40-64 KM.
Then I use 7 mega beam lasers and 1 drone augmenter.

Difficulty: Medium
Taking on Mordus ships with Amarr lasers is stupid
Theyre tanked against EM
Thermal is Ok though, but best is Kinetic, so use Railguns or Blasters or Kinetic Missles
