Its $10, you get allot of new and really good stuff with it. I don't know how many servers are still running it but it was allot more successful than the BF2 boosters.
There is like 6 servers running the maps, and there all 40 people plus servers. I wouldnt get it.

i love playing northern strike, yea there isn't many servers but it's the best fun i've had on that game, plus you get the extra unlocks

Northern Strike is just awesome. I play it exclusively (and titan from time to time) since I got it (about ~8 months ago). All three maps are brilliant, both new vehicles are really cool and unique.

Depends on whether or not you think $10 is too much to pay for all the extra unlocks. My thoughts are if you just have $10 laying around somewhere, spend it. The maps are pretty good and I personally love the Assault Lines mode.
The maps are well worth it. They're unique and really fun. The 2 new vehicles are also great. Both refreshingly new and completely different from each other.
People keep saying 'get it for the unlocks' but that never occured to me. You get all the unlocks anyway as Field Upgrades so you know what they all are. It's the maps and vehicles that are worth the money.

Doesn't take long to get everything either, around 5-10h or so and you will have most unlocks if you focus on getting them. But yeah its really fun to play but few servers

Honestly the maps are seriously biased in the EU's favor. The PAC basically has to keep every single control point the entire round to win. I have been on PAc teams who only gave up 1 control point and were dominating; they lost by 30 tickets. EU has superior walkers, the goliath, combined with the fact the majority of speeder users know jack shit about its walker eating tv missiles, and you have a severe imbalance.

I've taken down a few walkers with those Tv missiles, but thats all. Probably because I rarely get to get in the speeders.
I used Hachimoto to kill about 1/4 of my 739 destroyed walkers

Totally worth it. Bridge at Remagen is soooooo much fun, plus you get some new toys to unlock.

If it was about Leipzig, I also had good scores on that map but I barely play it now - Timeless NS is too laggy and I get about 15-20 fps on it (yes my PC is crap) so I stopped playing on that server a few months ago. I occasionally play on some random NS servers but mostly on Moders EU Port Bavaria 24/7. If there was some Remagen or Leipzig 24/7 servers with <64 slots I'd probably play on them aswell, but there isn't any.N00bkilla55404 wrote:
