Havok for gunning, since you don't need to aim, and I suck at flying helicopters, so none for flying.

they are all good in a way but i have to pick i take the cobra then the hind and finally the mi-28
Cobra. There NEED to be Apaches on Vanilla maps.

The Havoc is the best chopper for gunning. TV missiles and explosive shells.
Apache > Hind. As someone pointed out the missile spread and the fact it is smaller and better at turning than the Hind.
The Cobra and the Chinese choppers are the best for piloting.

i used to say apache, but i am changing to the hind. i have now mastered the circle of death, which basically makes you unstoppable. trust me, no other heli comes close to the rapage a hind can do. not even the havok.

As a copilot there's nothing better than the Havok. The concussion damage on that gun makes it amazing for clearing out tons of infantry.
Myself I prefer to fly solo though so I'd go with the Apache. (48 kill streak baby! )
Are some of you pretty good with the Hind? I can't do anything with that beast. I feel like I'm trying to pilot a whale.

It IS like piloting a whale, but what a whale! Nothing can be more satisfying than handling your HIND on the very tight Mass Destruction with success, setting up your co-pilot for those easy TV-kills. I voted Apache though, for its speed and agility. The difference between them is evident on Ghost Town, I don't want to navigate through the streets with the HIND there!|HBD| CyrexCore2k wrote:

okay, if pilots are at equal skill levels, the apache will usually win a dogfight against a hind, but for ground rapage, the circle of death > all. The havok hasn't got shit on the circle.
I would like to try a dogfight between a cobra and an apache sometime. (No copilots) I'm not sure but I think the cobra's rockets do more damage to armor than the apache's do so I think it'd be a pretty even match.

i go with the cobra for the soloing and the maneuverability woohoo!
i think the apache is more maneuverable than the cobra.... it has a stronger engine
