Well, now that we've got a couple threads going about favorite FPS and weapons, who are your favorite game developers/publishers? List as many as you like; reasons are not required. I find these to be the type of game devs that I don't question when I think about buying a game by them.
Blizzard
I have yet to be disappointed with these guys. I loved Starcraft and Warcraft. They always put out solid games. Even though I don't care for WoW, they're doing something right (with millions of players).
Rare
These guys made Goldeneye and Perfect Dark back in the N64 days, not to mention Killer instinct, which was loads of fun. Not sure what they're doing now though.
Insomniac
Ratchet and Clank series, as well as Resistance. Every game i have played by them has been solid, and fun.
SCEA
For being a first party dev, they put out a very nice selection of games. Gran Turismo series is of particular note here.
Square/SquareEnix/Squaresoft
Console rpg kings. Final fantasy series, multiple other rpgs for consoles, mostly exclusive to playstation. They have always had nice effects in the games, great storylines, as well as amazing soundtracks.
Nintendo
Another first party dev, and always makes great games, if not geared towards the younger crowd lately. Mario Kart, Legend of Zelda series, Mario, WarioWare, multiple others.
Rockstar/ RockstarNorth
Recent GTA's. Makes titles for the older crowd, and all seem to be pretty good.
