BF2S Forums I Need High Quality Pictures of the 2142 Award Knife......

cause i dont think people will read all the way through the six pages just to see that i need some pics.
i talk about it a few times in that thread, but the less astute wouldnt see i dont think.

titanium eh? luckily i have some sheets of that, and hey i can even anodize it....but thats expensive metal, i might just have to use some cheap steel for the first couple to get everything right. the profile of that thing is nuts...definitly spending some time on CAD today...anyway, thanks CP.

well, i cant do an EXACT to the T replica......i fear the corporate monsters.
however i will make one or two small alterations that can clearly be indentified as NOT the 2142 for my defense if it ever comes to it.
for a stainless steel version, with black corian composite handles will probably be around $200-$250.
if i decide to do a titanium version, expect a HUGE price jump. could even double the price in the end.

I don't think EA or DICE owns the rights to modeling design. I think you could get away with it. But you pay for quality, and the last knife you made looked awesome

ive been on the grinder all day, and i think i made some good headway.
i grabbed on old bastard mill file and went to work....ill put up some pics tomorrow, but my hands are doing the claw thing right now.

I know i cant travel around with a knife in England but i would still buy on. Just for the awesomeness of it. What i realy need is a pocket knife with a belaying pin in it.

id buy one. i would like to see just the regular knife too.
