Okay, so I have officially lost two friends to the abyss that is WoW. First it was, I am just going to check it out, now its: wake up, go to work, come home, play WoW, rinse and repeat, and then non-stop on the weekends with a little pot thrown in for good measure. It's like people in the outside world don't even exist anymore. These guys have closer relationships with their f'n clan mates, than with "real" people. I mean, WTF?!

I have lost some friends to WoW, Being a WoW player myself. I can deal with it.
at least their burnin' while playing. It DOES make video games in general much more enjoyable.

For myself ive seen what it look like...how its played...even played it a little at my friend house...i really dont see what so "Addictive" with this game.

You just have to get into it. It gets alot better as you progress, getting higher levels. Trying to save up money for a mount, doing an instance for better gear. It's a good game, I just play it in increments. Too many other games to play, like Crackdown . And plus, my dad hogs it all dayRoger Lesboules wrote:

if you could see farther back on the history of time played for bf2 you can probaly guess the day that i bought WoW. The graph flatlines for months

I've lost alot of friends to WoW, during the two different "recessions" of Star Wars Galaxies, seeing as admitdly i was addicted to SWG as much as some are to WOW, i know how to deal with it
WOW seems so complex, wouldnt it would be more simple just to 'live' life for real?
