Wow. Unnecessary for gaming at the moment but still mouth wateringly cool.
if they made it so 1 board can hold 4 gpu units id buy it. its just 2 big right now
Id rather not buy a video card that costs more that my entire computer.....
Edit: im kinda cheap though. I buy cards when the price drops low enough so that im paying for the price of manufacturing rather than paying for the development of the technology......

^^Keep dreaming . . .
These cards are acomplete waste of money. Yes, it's amazing what technology is doing, but the whole SLi concept by itself is a waste right now, not to mention Quad SLi.

Yeah, I read about that. Damn! Definitely unnecessary now, but cool!
I could heat my whole house with it.
Not needed now but imagine games in teh future
Its in the Dell XPS 600 renegade
And the system is $5000 with Quad SLi
$8000 if you want a custom paint job.

$3000 for a paint job! you could do it urself for $30
I'm sorry about the mix up it cost 1,200 for the costom paint job.

By the time you spend all that money on quad-SLI, AMD will have already moved on to DDR2 in its Socket AM2 systems. Short of NVIDIA coming up with true 16x quad-SLI for AM2 systems (and promising consistant driver support) with enough extra expansion slots for what I need, I don't think I'll ever buy four video cards for one computer.
