Don't forget it's hard to record more then one round of wake, as each minute is about 1GB of space. Hence making a cumulative video never works out unless you want to spend hours editing raw source and keeping the best parts for recompiliation later...which is piles of work for a BF2 vid worth nothing lol.
So basically I frapsed one round of Wake and a bit of another and put it together in Adobe to learn how to use it. I quite like Adobe now, but admittedly that video has a bit of everything in it to see how it works. I even added lens flare but later realized I should have made the lens flare adjust for the location of the camera as the view shifted. Anyways Adobe seems to have a lot of cool features, but I want to learn more about the title blocks and sound mixing on it because I wasn't very happy with the sound track. I wanted to hunt for some sound filters to block out some of the crap like vent and lay down a normal sound track so that when things got sped up there were no chipmunks or highpitched techno music from the ingame audio that was recorded raw. Some of the scene changes I enjoyed, and some I thought were rather tacky. Oh well you don't learn unless you try!

your guides are excellent, but this vid was kind of a letdown for me. once you get good at adobe you should be able to make a really professional vid.
In reply to DJ though, you must not have played very much wake if you thought that was spawn camping...spawn camping on Wake is camping the carrier or the Airfield J10 spawn. Blowing people up at flags is another story - do you suggest only shooting people on Wake inbetween flags as your preferred method?
Those guys got what they deserved in an entirely fair manner and I've played both sides on wake long enough to know that, if your getting harrased by jets, don't get in a fucking car and wait for the bombs to fall. People are lazy and don't want to walk (or swim in the vids case), so they cluster fuck that flag instead of trying to get another. Don't forget that was USMC raping China out on Wake (which is justice in itself) - I had to grown pound to cap those fuckers out of airfield before I could even get in the air and that was a lot of work (and all of my deaths) nevermind surviving the initial J10s raping the carrier. If anything I would "spawn camp" China more at the flags when they are foolish enough to get capped down to one side. That's Wake island justice!!
